FULHAM RESIDENCE, LONDON

The brief for this two-bedroom, Victorian terrace house evolved from what was supposed to be a simple bathroom facelift, to a fresh start for every room in the house.

The living room, the bedrooms, the kitchen and the bathroom were all refurbished with new, white-washed solid oak floorboards, marble and brass details, soft white-painted walls, new ambient light-fittings and new furniture throughout, all hand-picked to create a light, airy yet sophisticated interior.

The kitchen and bathroom underwent the most significant transformation from its dated early-nineties style with an awkward layout to an elegant, light-filled and modern space that functions for the needs of the young family that inhabit it.
